Facilitation

Available Exercises and Activities for Groups of a minimum of 10 People:

Guided Plant Walk
– You will be taken on a walk around the area surrounding the mission with a knowledge holder who will talk about each of the plants and the traditional uses of each.

Beading
– A Facilitator will come in and teach your group how to bead a keepsake that you can bring home.

Blanket Exercise
– The KAIROS Blanket Exercise program is a unique, interactive and participatory history lesson developed in collaboration with the Indigenous Elders, Knowledge keepers and educators.

Traditional Games
– You and your group will be taught a traditional game that was played by the Ktunaxa people, and will be taught about the game and the history behind it.

Miniature Moccasin Making Workshop
– A facilitator will come teach you and your group how to make a set of miniature ornamental moccasins.

Legend/Story Telling
– A Facilitator will come in and do a interactive Ktunaxa Legend with you and you group.

Tipi Raising
– A facilitator or knowledge keeper will do a team building exercise with you and your group to raise a Tipi. This will also include basic knowledge of the correct protocols that come with tipi raising.

Cross Cultural Awareness Session
– This is customized to the group and what each group is looking to achieve, normally a session could include keynote speakers and or activities listed above. We work individually with each company to ensure they get everything that want for their company and or employees.
